alzano's doors opened in September 1998 by Mr. B and daughter, Lucy Hergan. It was Mr. B's homemade family recipes and excellent hospitality that made Balzano's what it is today! Since then, local customers have become regulars, who have become our friends, and the business has grown to include catering, Late Night for college students, and a holiday stop for cookie trays, bakery orders and more.

Recently, Balzano's has been awarded with honors from The Press Enterprise Reader's Choice Award for Best Dinner Restaurant, and Best Lunch Restaurant and also The BU Voice voted Balzanos for 'Best Italian Food' and 'Best Overall Restaurant'.
